Nigerian singer Dammy Krane, whose real name is Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, has been arrested in connection with alleged defamation against music star Davido.
The arrest follows Dammy Krane’s accusations against Davido, which include serious allegations of murder and other derogatory claims made on social media.
Reports indicate that Davido’s lawyer had initially given Dammy Krane a 24-hour deadline to retract his statements and cease any further defamatory remarks or face legal consequences. Despite this warning, Dammy Krane persisted with his accusations, including claims that he witnessed Davido’s involvement in the death of Tagbo.
In a statement on his social media timeline, Dammy Krane alleged that Davido had paid individuals to have him arrested. He also claimed that a petition had been filed against him for alleged Flutter Wave and cryptocurrency scams.

Additionally, he urged his fans to hold Davido accountable if anything were to happen to him, citing the similar treatment of fellow artist Mohbad.
