The WeLoveYa Festival in Cotonou has officially raised the bar for its 2025 edition with the exciting confirmation that Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy will be joining Afrobeats giants Davido and Wizkid on stage.

This announcement firmly strengthens the festival’s reputation as one of Africa’s most influential and unmissable music events.

Set to take place on December 27 and 28, 2025, at the iconic Place de l’Amazone, the festival is preparing for a rare and spectacular convergence of three of Nigeria’s most celebrated global music exports. A newly released promotional poster from the organizers confirms Burna Boy’s performance date on December 27, sending waves of excitement through fans across West Africa and the international Afrobeats community.

The WeLoveYa Festival has built its legacy on showcasing the best of Afro and Urban culture, but the 2025 edition is already being described as one for the history books. Bringing Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid—three artists who have reshaped Africa’s presence on the global music map—onto the same stage is a massive cultural moment. Their collective influence has carried Afrobeats to international prominence, and their upcoming performances have sparked intense anticipation among fans, critics, and industry insiders alike.

In addition to the powerhouse lineup, festivalgoers will be treated to a rich cultural experience at the Festival Village Amazone. The village will feature a lively mix of food courts, bars, interactive spaces, and multiple ticket tiers ranging from Standard to VIP, ensuring an inclusive experience for all attendees.

Organizers have also reiterated their commitment to community impact. A portion of ticket proceeds will go toward building EYA Centers, innovative community hubs aimed at empowering African youth through training, creativity, and technological development.

With Burna Boy now officially confirmed, the WeLoveYa Festival 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most electrifying celebrations of African music, culture, and creativity as the year comes to a close.
