We will not vote for a President that will import Alcohol in the North or a man who is being fed by his wife- APC Chieftain, Alwan Hassan, dismisses Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi’s Presidential ambition (video)

APC chieftain, Alwan Hassan, says the North will never vote Peter Obi, as President due to his affiliation with alcohol breweries. Hassan said this while speaking on Channels TV on Tuesday, August 5.

The anchor during the interview had mentioned that the President had never lost an election either as a Senator or a Governor. Responding, Hassan said4

‘’And he will never lose an election.’ I am predicting. With the facts on ground. he will not lose an election. Who else do you think will defeat Asiwaju? Is it Peter Obi that was on your programme saying he wants the North to support him and in the same programme, he was celebrating building a brewery in Anambra state and being the biggest importer of alcohol. And he wants to North to vote for him? We will vote for a president that will import alcohol in the North?

Is it those ones that are saying their wives are taking care of them? We cannot hand over this country to men being fed by their wives. ‘’

When asked who he was referring to, he responded

‘’Somebody was here and said his wife is an entrepreneur. We want a man that is a man of his house,. We don’t want a man that his wife is feeding.

We will not hand our country to a man that is being fed by hi wife”

Weeks ago, former Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi was on Channels where he stated that his wife is a successful businesswoman and industrialist. His comment sparked a debate with his successor, Nyesom Wike, accusing Amaechi’s wife, Judith of collecting N4bn from NDDC over a period of twelve months to conduct a skills acquisition programme for Niger Delta women, an allegation she has since denied.
