Kim Kardashian reveals workout secrets that keep her in shape at 44
Kim Kardashian has opened up about the fitness routine that helps her maintain her physique at 44.
The reality star shared that she works out for an hour and a half every day, focusing mainly on strength training with some pilates and light cardio.
“I’m a big weightlifter, so I do lots of weights,” she explained in a recent interview. “I’ve had some back issues, so I’ve had to readjust some of my workouts, but I have to do lower body in order to stay toned. I do a few days of upper body.”
Kardashian said she usually dedicates each workout session to a specific body part. She added: “I do an hour and a half a day with weights and stretching, and a little bit of cardio. I love pilates … I find when I don’t incorporate pilates at least once a week, I can feel it in my back. I definitely need that lengthening and stretching.”
The mother of four prefers working out in the mornings but admitted she sometimes checks her phone mid-session, which frustrates her trainer. To keep her energy up, she loves listening to Justin Bieber, though she stays away from dance workouts or hot yoga.
“I did [hot yoga] once and I fell asleep,” she laughed. “Just with the mood, and you lay down and close your eyes. I can fall asleep anywhere, so put me in the position to fall asleep, and I will.”
