Chelsea Open Talks to Sign Randal Kolo Muani from PSG Ahead of 2025/26 Season
Chelsea Football Club have reportedly initiated formal discussions to secure the signing of French forward Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain in preparation for the upcoming 2025/26 campaign.
The West London club are actively seeking a reliable striker to bolster their attacking options, following a string of inconsistent performances from Nicolas Jackson, who has led Chelsea’s frontline for the past two seasons. According to French outlet L’Équipe, the Blues have expressed strong interest in Kolo Muani and have already begun negotiations, as reported on Sunday, June 21, 2025.
Kolo Muani, currently on loan at Juventus, has attracted interest from the Italian giants as well. The 26-year-old striker was originally brought in on a temporary basis and granted permission to remain with Juventus to compete in the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup.
Despite Chelsea’s growing interest, Juventus remain hopeful of retaining the Frenchman’s services. Reports suggest the Turin-based side are working on a new loan agreement that includes a realistic option to buy, in a bid to make his stay permanent.
So far during his loan spell in the 2024/25 season, Kolo Muani has scored 10 goals in 20 appearances for Juventus—an impressive return that has not gone unnoticed by potential suitors across Europe.
In addition to Kolo Muani, Chelsea are also monitoring another former PSG talent, Hugo Ekitiké, who now plies his trade with Eintracht Frankfurt. While interest in the 22-year-old forward is genuine, Chelsea have yet to open official negotiations with either the player or his representatives.
As Chelsea look to rebuild their attacking force ahead of the new season, both Kolo Muani and Ekitiké remain high on their radar.
