Even though my people are now in love with their oppressor, this day will never be forgotten”- Macaroni writes as he remembers Oct 20, 2020 Lekki tollgate incident

Skitmaker and actor, Mr Macaroni, has taken to social media to remember the incident that happened at the Lekki-Ikoyi tollgate during the #EdnSARS protest on October 20, 2020.

Nigerians had gathered at the tollgate and many other parts of the country to cry out over police brutality and call on government to end the activities of bad police officers. On October 20, security agents stormed the tollgate and fired gunshots in a bid to disperse the protesters. While the protesters insist there were casualties, the government claim otherwise.

In a post shared on his Instagram page this morning, Mr Macaroni  wrote;

‘’Nigerian Youths lost their lives, jobs, families and dreams at the hands of the most corrupt and evil People we call Leaders!!!

Even though my people are now in love with their Oppressors, this day 20/10/2020 is never to be forgotten nor forgiven! ‘’
