Back to the soil' - Asake stuns fans with a 2025 African tour announcement
Multiple award-winning Afrobeats sensation Asake has left fans buzzing with excitement after announcing that his 2025 tour will be exclusive to African countries.
The singer officially unveiled plans for his highly anticipated ‘Mr. Money African Tour,’ which is set to kick off in December. The tour begins with a show in Nairobi, Kenya, on December 20, before moving to Lagos, Nigeria, on December 24, and concluding in Côte d’Ivoire on December 27. The Lagos concert is particularly special as it marks Asake’s long-awaited return to the Nigerian stage, having spent nearly a year abroad performing, recording, and promoting his music on the international circuit.
The announcement comes during what has been a steady yet impactful year for Asake. In 2025, he has already released two solo singles — Why Love and Badman Gangsta featuring French star Tiakola — both of which dominated charts across African streaming platforms. Alongside his own hits, Asake has delivered standout features, appearing on Young Jonn’s Che Che, Olamide’s 99, J Hus’s Gold, and Gunna’s Satisfaction.
Adding to the excitement, the singer has been teasing his next studio project, an upcoming album titled Mr. Money. Though no official release date has been confirmed, the album is widely expected to drop before the end of the year, potentially aligning with his December tour.
With a new project on the horizon and an all-African tour that underscores his commitment to connecting with his home audience, Asake looks set to close out 2025 on a high note, cementing his reputation as one of Afrobeats’ most influential voices.
