Arsenal have officially unveiled their squad list for the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League campaign, marking their return to Europe’s most prestigious club competition.

In a statement released across all of the club’s media platforms, the Gunners confirmed the group of players manager Mikel Arteta will be relying on as they aim to make a strong impression on the continental stage this season.

One of the biggest talking points from the announcement was the absence of Gabriel Jesus. While UEFA rules allow clubs to update their squad lists again in January 2026, many supporters are already speculating that the Brazilian forward’s omission could signal he is no longer central to Arteta’s long-term plans at the Emirates.

Despite that notable exclusion, Arsenal have submitted a well-balanced and competitive squad, blending youth and experience, as they join fellow Premier League side Chelsea in naming strong line-ups for the opening rounds of the tournament.

The Gunners will kick off their 2025 Champions League journey in what promises to be an exciting first group stage match, as Arteta and his men look to prove they can compete with Europe’s elite.

Here are the first set of matches to be played by Arsenal in the 2025 UEFA Champions League:

  • Arsenal v Olympiacos – Wednesday October 1, 2025
