What jersey number will Marcus Rashford wear for Barcelona?
As Marcus Rashford’s much-anticipated transfer from Manchester United to FC Barcelona reaches its final stages, the England international’s jersey number at his new club has now been confirmed.
Rashford, 27, will don the number 14 shirt for the upcoming 2025/26 La Liga season, marking a new chapter in his career as he seeks to rediscover top form in Spain.
The dynamic forward, who endured a challenging campaign at Manchester United last season, arrives at Camp Nou aiming for a fresh start under new manager Hansi Flick. Reports indicate that Barcelona will cover Rashford’s full wages, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
While his official registration is still pending—due to La Liga’s ongoing financial fair play protocols—club sources suggest that Rashford will be fully integrated into Flick’s plans once the formalities are completed.
Wearing the No. 14 jersey—a number previously worn by club greats such as Johan Cruyff and Thierry Henry—Rashford is expected to bring added firepower, pace, and versatility to Barcelona’s frontline.
His arrival boosts competition in attack and strengthens the Blaugrana’s ambition to reclaim domestic and continental glory.
The choice of jersey number may also reflect Rashford’s desire to make a strong impact and forge a legacy of his own at one of Europe’s most iconic football clubs.
