Tiwa Savage Unveils Tracklist for Upcoming Album This One Is Personal

Afrobeats superstar Tiwa Savage has officially revealed the tracklist for her forthcoming album, This One Is Personal, set for release on August 29, 2025. The 15-track project is already shaping up to be one of the most intimate and emotionally driven records of her illustrious career.

Often celebrated as the “Queen of Afrobeats,” Tiwa has described this new body of work as a reflection of her personal experiences, weaving together themes of love, heartbreak, resilience, and growth. Song titles such as “Angel Dust,” “Scared of Love,” and “You’re Not the First (You’re Just The…)” point to narratives laced with vulnerability and self-discovery.

The album is further enriched by powerful collaborations that cut across genres and geographies. UK rap heavyweight Skepta, Grammy-winning songwriter James Fauntleroy, and Nigeria’s fast-rising talent Taves all make guest appearances, ensuring a diverse blend of Afrobeats, rap, R&B, and soul.

One of the standout elements is the interlude “This One Is Personal,” which not only lends its name to the album but also encapsulates Tiwa’s intention to bare her soul to listeners in a raw, unfiltered way.

For more than a decade, Tiwa Savage has reigned as one of the most influential female voices in African music, constantly pushing boundaries and redefining the global perception of Afrobeats. With this upcoming release, she appears ready to cement her legacy even further, blending her trademark sound with bold storytelling and new sonic influences.

Adding to the excitement, the singer has confirmed plans for a free concert in London, a special gift to her fans and a celebration of the album’s release.

As the countdown to August 29 begins, anticipation is soaring worldwide. Fans and critics alike are eager to hear how Tiwa Savage transforms her most personal stories into what could very well be another defining milestone in her remarkable career.
