South African teenager st@bbed to d3ath in xenophobic attack
A South African family is demanding justice after their 19-year-old son, Nhlamulo Sambo, was allegedly st@bbed to d3ath during unrest in Mossel Bay, Western Cape.
According to the victim’s sister, Nhlamulo was attacked and k!lled on 31 May 2026 in what the family believes was a xenophobic and tribalistic attack targeting people perceived as outsiders in the community.
Reports circulating on social media claim that tensions escalated during protests and unrest in the area, with some residents allegedly telling people from other communities to leave and return to their places of origin.
In an emotional statement, his sister said:
“They killed my brother like they were k!lling a dog. My 19-year-old little brother was st@bbed to d3ath on the 31st of May during the xenophobic riots/protests in Western Cape, Mossel Bay. His fault was being Tsonga in a Xhosa community. We are deeply hurt as a family about this inhumane act. Justice must be served. We will not be silent.”
The tragedy has sparked outrage online, with many South Africans calling for justice and condemning xenophobia, tribalism, and violence against fellow citizens.
