Sosoliso plane crash survivor Kechi Okwuchi undergoes eyelid surgery
Sosoliso plane crash survivor and singer, Kechi Okwuchi has undergone another surgery, this time on her eyelid.
The finalist on reality show, America’s Got Talent, has done about 140 surgeries altogether since the tragic December 10, 2005 plane crash that claimed the lives of 106 people, including her 60 schoolmates.
Taking to her social media handles on Sunday, September 14, Kechi shared photos of herself on her hospital bed three days after the surgery, exuding strength and her usual positivity.
She revealed that she had to undergo the surgery because the skin around her eyelid is tight, making it difficult to close her eyes or blink properly.
“Currently 3 days post-op from eyelid surgery. The skin on my eyelids is tight, making me unable to close my eyes or blink properly, which started to affect my eyesight, hence the need for surgery. My last surgery was in 2019 so it’s kinda weird to be back here after so long lol,” she wrote.
