Portable responds to VeryDarkMan’s allegations

Controversial Nigerian street-hop sensation Portable (Habeeb Olalomi Badmus) has reignited his long-standing feud with outspoken social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), in a fresh wave of online drama that has captured public attention.

The latest clash stems from a viral video shared by VDM, in which he called Portable a hypocrite for publicly hailing a political figure as “his best president.” VDM also leveled serious accusations against the singer, alleging that Portable once stole a mobile phone and a tricycle—claims that quickly stirred reactions online.

Never one to back down, Portable responded with a no-holds-barred video collage, launching a verbal tirade against the activist. The Zazoo Zeh hitmaker branded VDM with insults such as “idiot,” “liar,” and “unfortunate fellow,” even going as far as to curse him. He accused VDM of clout-chasing—alleging that the activist builds his platform by dragging celebrities through the mud, only to later associate with them behind closed doors.

Portable didn’t hold back, naming public figures he claimed VDM had previously attacked online but was later seen fraternizing with. He painted a picture of an activist whose online persona doesn’t match his real-life alliances.

In direct response to the theft allegations, Portable strongly denied ever stealing a phone or a tricycle. According to him, those items were voluntarily given to him by individuals who later turned against him after he refused to meet their demands. He maintained that the issue was resolved privately and that the resurfacing of the allegations was simply an act of mischief.

Demonstrating his self-proclaimed “street credibility,” Portable also claimed that his influence recently led to a road in front of his house being repaired, stating that he requested it and the state governor promptly acted.

This altercation marks yet another chapter in the turbulent relationship between Portable and VeryDarkMan. Their feud, which dates back to an incident at Felabration, has evolved into a recurring saga of mutual accusations and heated exchanges. As both figures continue to dominate headlines with their controversial antics, their online war shows no signs of slowing down.
