Mavin Records Unveils New Signee Cupid Fszn, Launches His Career With Debut EP Myth Era

Mavin Records has officially introduced its latest rising star, Cupid Fszn, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the young artist with the release of his debut EP, Myth Era.

The announcement came directly from Mavin founder Don Jazzy, who shared an inspiring backstory of perseverance, talent, and destiny that ultimately led to Cupid Fszn’s signing. According to Don Jazzy, the journey began four years ago when a devoted father reached out, sending a demo of his then 17-year-old son. The message, however, went unnoticed amid thousands of unread messages in his crowded inbox.

Despite the missed opportunity, Cupid Fszn didn’t slow down. He continued refining his skills, experimenting with his sound, and steadily building his confidence. His dedication paid off two years later when his talent finally caught the attention of the Mavin team—this time, at the perfect moment.

Now 21, Cupid Fszn has spent the past few years sharpening his artistry at the Mavin Academy, the label’s renowned talent-development hub responsible for shaping some of Afrobeats’ biggest breakout stars, including Rema, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, Crayon, and Magixx. His growth within the academy solidified him as a standout act, proving he had both the skill and the discipline needed to thrive on the global music stage.

With the release of Myth Era, Cupid Fszn formally steps into the spotlight. The EP serves as a bold introduction, showcasing his unique musical identity and signaling the arrival of a fresh, dynamic voice within the Mavin roster. Early listeners describe the project as a blend of youthful creativity, emotional depth, and sonic innovation—qualities that align with Mavin Records’ reputation for discovering and shaping exceptional talent.

As Myth Era becomes available across streaming platforms, Mavin Records reaffirms its commitment to nurturing homegrown artists and pushing the boundaries of African music worldwide. For Cupid Fszn, this moment marks the beginning of what promises to be a remarkable journey.
