Lil Kesh Opens Up About Mental Health Struggles and Living with Undiagnosed ADHD

Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh has candidly spoken for the first time about his personal battles with mental health, surprising many fans with his openness and vulnerability.

In a recent interview, the Shoki crooner revealed he has long struggled with anxiety and believes he has lived with undiagnosed Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) since childhood. Although he has not received a formal diagnosis, Lil Kesh explained that years of self-awareness and lived experience have made him confident about his condition.

“I don’t like to label myself as ADHD, but I know I have it,” he shared. “Everyone deals with some level of distraction or restlessness, but it becomes a problem when it disrupts your daily life—and I’ve experienced that since I was a kid.”

He also opened up about the pressures of fame, admitting that being in the public eye often intensifies his anxiety. Uncertainty and a lack of direction, he said, are key triggers, and learning to recognize his emotions has been essential in managing the weight he carries internally.

Lil Kesh emphasized the importance of honest conversations around mental health, especially in the entertainment industry, where many silently wrestle with their mental and emotional well-being.
