Is Nigeria unlivable?- U.S. citizen mocks Nigerian man celebrating Canadian citizenship

A US economist, Scott Bolshevik, has mocked a Nigerian man celebrating his Canadian citizenship.

The Nigerian man with the handle @josh0491, had posted photos of himself celebrating after he was granted a Canadian citizenship. He had taken to his X handle to express his joy at becoming a Canadian citizen.

‘’I dreamt it, prayed for it, worked towards it when I didn’t even know how I’d get there. But here I am today, living it, and it feels so normal.

#CertifiedCanadian”the X user had written

Scott found the post amusing and took to his handle to mock the Nigerian man. According to him, no group celebrates acquiring the citizenship of another country like Nigerians.

‘’No group celebrates Western citizenship like Nigerians. They make a spectacle of it and you’d think escaping home is the dream.

Is Nigeria really that unlivable?”he wrote
