‘I’m still looking for someone’s son’ – Tiwa Savage lists ideal partner requirements

Spread the love

Nigerian Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has candidly opened up about her love life, revealing that she is still on the lookout for her perfect match even after turning 45.

In a recent podcast appearance, the multi-award-winning singer and proud mother of one admitted that her very specific preferences might be the reason she is still single. With a mix of humor and honesty, Savage explained that she is drawn to younger men who are financially established and free from the complications of past relationships, particularly “baby mama” drama.

“I’m still looking for someone’s son,” she said with a playful smile. “I don’t have a partner, and maybe it’s because I’m asking for specific things. I want someone who has a private plane, a yacht, and no baby mama drama — because I can’t deal with that. Maybe I need to narrow down my search.”

Fans know Tiwa Savage as the “African Bad Girl,” a bold and unapologetic persona that has helped her dominate the African music scene for over a decade. She was previously married to her former manager, Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Tee Billz, in a glamorous 2013 wedding. However, their high-profile marriage ended in a highly publicized divorce in 2018.

Her frank remarks have since set social media abuzz, with supporters praising her for knowing her worth and refusing to settle, while others argue that her high standards could be limiting her chances at love. Either way, Tiwa Savage’s openness has once again reminded fans why she remains one of Nigeria’s most talked-about and influential stars — both on and off the stage.
