Jessica Alves Discusses Her Sexuality and Plastic Surgery Journey

Social media influencer Jessica Alves has shared insights about her sexuality in a recent interview.

On June 13, the former Celebrity Big Brother star, who came out as trans in 2020, appeared on This Morning with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard to discuss her emotional journey with plastic surgery.

“It’s been a very long journey. It’s been very painful, very expensive, and difficult for those around me as well, like my family and friends, each time I decided, ‘Okay, I need another surgery,’” she explained.

While Alves acknowledged her intense relationship with plastic surgery, she proudly announced that her procedures are now complete.

“I really don’t need anything else. I had everything that I could possibly do under the sun. There’s no space for anything else here,” she stated.

Alves also shared a significant life update about her sexuality, revealing she is sapiosexual while discussing her ideal partner.

A sapiosexual is someone attracted to intelligence before appearance or gender.

According to Verywell Mind, sapiosexuals can be part of the LGBTQIA+ community or heterosexual.

Alves elaborated on her identity, saying, “I’m attracted to intelligent minds. You can be as good-looking as you are, painted in gold, but if you don’t have a brain…”

Fans Support Jessica Alves After She Reveals She’s Sapiosexual

Shortly after her interview, fans flocked to Jessica Alves’ Instagram to show their support.

One person wrote: “I hope you find what you’re looking for. You deserve it.”

Another fan commented: “Me represented… demi and sapiosexual.”

Alves isn’t the only celebrity to come out as sapiosexual. In September 2019, music producer Mark Ronson revealed his sapiosexuality on Good Morning Britain (GMB).

“I feel like I am identifying as sapiosexual. Yeah, I didn’t know that there was a word for it,” he said.

“We were all arguing backstage in the dressing room with a couple of your producers. And yes, I feel like I am identifying as sapiosexual.”

However, a few weeks later, Ronson clarified his statement in an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I do not consider myself part of any marginalized community, and I apologize if anybody misunderstood or took offence to it,” he explained.
