Honour k!lling: Man m8rders his sister for talking with her boyfriend on phone

In a case of suspected honour k!lling, a 21-year-old Indian woman was allegedly m8rdered by her elder brother over love affair with a village youth.
The accused Amir Ahmer, 25, k!lled his sister at their house at Adampur village in Muzaffarnagar district, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2026 while she was speaking to her boyfriend on phone despite opposition by the family to the relationship.
According to the Times of India, Ahmer allegedly slit her throat with a sharp-edged weapon.
The body has been sent for postmortem and a hunt is on to nab the absconding accused.
SSP Sanjay Verma visited the crime scene. A forensic team and dog squad were deployed to collect evidence and assist investigators.
“We received information through a watchman that a young woman named Ariba, aged around 21-22 years, was m8rdered by her brother because she used to talk to a young man,” said Verna.
