Davido has shared his reaction to Asake’s newly released album, M$NEY, during a recent session on Twitch.

Speaking during the livestream, Davido briefly addressed the project while interacting with viewers, asking:

“Have you listened to Asake’s new album?”

He then added:

“Shoutout to Asake.”

The short but supportive comment quickly caught the attention of fans online, especially as M$NEY has become one of the most discussed Nigerian music releases of May 2026. Since its release, the album has continued to generate strong reactions across streaming platforms and social media.

Davido’s statement has also been viewed by many fans as another example of the mutual respect that exists among leading Afrobeats artists, despite the competitive nature of the industry.

Beyond music, Davido has also remained active in public affairs. The Afrobeats star was recently appointed Chairman of the Osun State Sports Trust Fund, a position focused on supporting sports development and funding initiatives in Osun State.

As part of his early plans in the role, Davido revealed during a visit to Osogbo that he intends to help expand the Osogbo stadium from a reported 5,000-seat capacity to 15,000 seats, with the aim of improving sports infrastructure across the state.
