Despite being political rivals, Vice President Kashim Shettima, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi were filmed journeying together in a bus to the funeral of Dada Yar’Adua.
Dada Yar’Adua, the mother of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, died yesterday, September 2, at the age of 102.
Politicians and other dignitaries travelled to Katsina for the funeral rites which began today, September 3.
A video shared online shows Kashim Shettima and Atiku Abubakar sitting together, while Peter Obi sat several seats behind them as they went to pay their final respects.
The video has sparked a conversation about rival politicians getting along peacefully while their supporters get violent with each other.
