Beware of men that love football more than anything — Nigerian Lady advises her gender

A young lady has gone viral after calling out men who put football above their girlfriends and relationships.

In her words, “They will be glued to that television like this. If I’m even dying beside them, they won’t notice. It’s only work that can make them miss a match — and if they miss it, they’ll still watch highlights.”

She described how some men spend hours at bars, arguing with friends over matches, ignoring their girlfriends completely.

According to her, it gets so bad that even when they say they’ll “come later,” it’s always after midnight, when they’ve finished arguing football.

The lady even recalled spotting a group of men standing dangerously by the roadside in Lagos, watching a football match through a transparent fence at a bar. “Cars were just passing carelessly, but these men didn’t care. They stood there till the match finished. What if something had hit them?”
