Ayra Starr explains why she “can’t stand straight”

Ayra Starr has responded to comments about her posture.

The singer is usually pictured with her butt pushed out.

She took to X to give a sarcastic explanation for this, writing: “Guys I actually can’t stand straight. it’s not my fault My waist is bent from carrying afrobeats on my back this year.”

Ayra Starr is a rising star in Nigerian music. Born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe in 2002, she’s known for her blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and alté, a unique subgenre of Afrobeats. Her 2021 single “Away” established her as a fresh voice in the scene.

Ayra Starr has released music like “Rush” and the album “19 & Dangerous”. She’s also collaborated with artists like Cheque and Omah Lay.

In addition to her music, she’s been a brand ambassador for Pepsi Nigeria and was nominated for “Best Newcomer” at the African Muzik Magazine Awards.
