Anambra masquerade attacks performer on stage at an event

A video showing the moment a masquerade attacked a musician while performing on stage at the royal ofala festival has made the rounds on social media.
The performer was singing at the event, entertaining Igwe Michael Okechukwu of Awgbu kingdom in Anambra state and his guests, when the masquerade mounted the state and attacked him.
It is unclear why the masquerade attacked the singer.
