Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has finally broken his silence on the recent controversy involving Vinícius Júnior, assuring fans that the issue has been settled amicably within the team and that the Brazilian forward will face no disciplinary action.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference, Alonso firmly dismissed ongoing rumors of tension between him and Vinícius following the player’s emotional outburst during El Clásico, emphasizing that the situation has been handled with maturity and understanding.

“There’s no Vini Jr case — everything is clarified,” Alonso stated confidently. “Vini spoke in front of all of us on Wednesday, and he’s been fantastic. He was very honest, clear, and genuine. His public statement was powerful, but what he said privately to his teammates mattered even more.”

The Real Madrid boss went on to commend Vinícius for his accountability and professionalism, describing his response as a sign of growth and leadership. Alonso stressed that the club has closed the chapter completely, choosing to focus on unity ahead of their upcoming fixtures.

“Vinícius Jr will not be punished. The matter is closed,” Alonso confirmed. “His attitude has been impeccable. He took full responsibility and spoke from the heart, which shows the kind of person and player he is.”

Vinícius had earlier issued a heartfelt apology to Madrid supporters, his teammates, and club officials, expressing deep regret for his reaction when he was substituted during the El Clásico match. In his message, he reaffirmed his commitment to Real Madrid, promising to continue fighting for the badge “as he has done since day one.”

Alonso’s comments reflect a strong atmosphere of respect and cohesion within the Real Madrid camp. Rather than allowing the incident to cause division, both player and coach have demonstrated mutual professionalism and emotional maturity, reinforcing their shared focus on the club’s objectives.

With the situation now officially put to rest, Los Blancos appear united and determined as they prepare for their next challenge — a reminder that even moments of tension can strengthen team spirit when handled with openness and respect.
