WWE superstars Naomi and Jimmy Uso have announced they are expecting their first child, marking a new chapter for the wrestling power couple and expanding the storied Bloodline family.

Naomi revealed the news during Monday Night Raw, telling fans she is seven weeks pregnant while relinquishing her Women’s World Championship. The 37-year-old remained in character during the announcement, initially refusing to surrender the title before promising to return in nine months to reclaim her place in the division.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H shared a backstage video with the couple, writing: “Couldn’t be happier for @TheTrinity_Fatu & Jimmy @WWEUsos! Some things matter more than championships. #WWERaw.”

The announcement was further detailed on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, where Naomi explained she learned of her pregnancy on August 10 while on the road. She admitted the news came as a surprise given her previous fertility struggles, including an oophorectomy to remove her right ovary before her WWE debut in 2012 and a myomectomy to remove fibroids five years ago.

“On top of being 37 and only having one ovary, we thought that naturally I couldn’t anymore,” Naomi said. “I found out Sunday, called him, and then stressed about having to tell work because of where I am right now as the champion. Of all times.”

Jimmy Uso revealed his wife initially felt she had let her fans down, though she later expressed joy despite the challenges ahead. “It’s a lot to process, but I’m happy,” Naomi said, noting that her pregnancy will require more frequent medical checkups as she is considered high risk. “Everything is looking good. We’re off to a good start.”

The announcement sparked reactions across WWE, with Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch jokingly labeling Naomi “irresponsible” in a lighthearted nod to her own 2020 pregnancy, when she vacated the Raw Women’s Title.

Naomi, who captured the Women’s World Championship in July, leaves the ring during one of the most celebrated runs of her career but has assured fans she will return.
