A woman caused a scene at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos state by destroying her husband’s international passport and publicly disrespecting him in front of a crowd.

The incident occurred on Saturday, August 10, shortly after the woman, her husband, and their children arrived in Lagos from abroad. In a video shared online, someone confronts the woman about tearing up her husband’s passport, but she shows no remorse, responding with a defiant, “Na me tear am,” followed by, “Na your own?”

Scattered pieces of the passport are visible on the floor, as customs officers, airport staff, and other passengers look on. After a brief moment, the wife instructs her children to follow her and dismissively tells her husband, “If you want to sleep there, you sleep there,” before leaving with their son and daughter. Bystanders at the airport encourage the man to remain calm, saying, “Bros, just take am easy.”

Afterward, the husband, along with an airport staff member, gathered the torn pieces of his passport. The individual filming the incident, who appeared to be a fellow passenger on the same flight, remarked that the woman had been acting up even while they were still on the plane, noting, “Na so e be for inside flight since.”
