William Saliba Addresses Arsenal Future Amid Contract Speculation

Arsenal’s first-choice defender, William Saliba, has spoken about his future at the club, with less than three years remaining on his current contract.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League second-leg clash against PSV, the French center-back clarified that there have been no discussions regarding a contract extension. He emphasized that, with years still left on his deal, there is no urgency for negotiations at the moment.

What Did William Saliba Say About His Future?

Saliba stated:

“Not yet, because I have some years left on my contract. There is no rush at the minute. I am happy here at Arsenal. That’s it. I am really happy here at Arsenal. I have two and a half years on my contract, and I want to continue here. I want to win big things with Arsenal. If you leave this club and you don’t win anything, the fans will forget about you. I want to win here.”

Saliba has been instrumental in Arsenal’s success over recent seasons and is determined to translate his performances into silverware.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is in a commanding position to reach the Champions League quarter-finals after a dominant 7-1 victory over PSV in the first leg. Fans are hopeful this could be the season they lift the prestigious European trophy.
