Before the season three release, Brownell told Digital Spy that most of the third season was already written when Netflix decided to divide it into two parts.
“It just worked out perfectly that we have this big moment at the midpoint of the season,” she said. “We do tend to break the season in two parts in a way anyway. So I’m excited for that to be the last moment of the season. I think it will leave fans with time for a lot of speculation.”
Bridgerton season 3 part 1 is available to stream on Netflix from May 16, with part 2 arriving on June 13.
