What is the update on Kai Havertz’s injury at Arsenal?
Arsenal Football Club fans have been dealt disappointing news, as Kai Havertz has been ruled out for February 2026 due to injury.
The German midfielder reportedly sustained a new muscular issue. Since returning from a previous injury on January 12, 2026, Havertz has featured in six matches and scored three goals.
This setback comes just a month into his comeback from a knee injury that sidelined him for the first half of the 2025–26 season. Havertz also missed a significant portion of the latter half of last season after suffering a hamstring tear.
Havertz missed Arsenal’s league fixture against Brentford and is expected to miss the upcoming match against Wolves in the Premier League. He is also likely to sit out the FA Cup fourth-round tie against Wigan Athletic and the North London derby against Tottenham.
Arsenal are scheduled to face Chelsea on March 1, and it is anticipated that Havertz could be fit by then. Thankfully, this latest injury is not considered as serious as his previous ones.
Havertz’s absence represents a significant blow to Arsenal’s title ambitions, particularly following the season-ending injury to Mikel Merino. The club will now have to navigate these crucial fixtures without two of their key midfielders.
