Popular blogger and entertainer Tunde Ednut has officially become a citizen of the United States. But that’s not all — he also received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, an honor signed by former U.S. President Joe Biden.

Tunde made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a photo of his American passport alongside the award plaque. In his caption, he wrote:

“Congratulations to me!!! Not just a Citizen Oo! I also got recognition from the President of America. I am highly honored and blessed.”

The award is given to individuals who have dedicated over 4,000 hours of volunteer service to their communities.

Reactions poured in from fellow celebrities. Tiwa Savage joked in the comments, “This one that you are now handsome like this in these pictures… na AI.” Others like Davido, Cubana Chief Priest, and Destiny Etiko also sent their congratulations.

This isn’t Tunde’s first major recognition. Back in January 2025, he received a Certificate of Recognition from Prince George’s County, Maryland, for his impact in the African diaspora community.
