Tolani Baj Responds to Avala's Claim of Enmity from BBNaija Days
Tolani Baj has responded assertively following a public declaration by her former Big Brother Naija co-star Avala, who stated online that they are now enemies.
Avala expressed her sentiments on Tuesday, June 19, posting on X: “Somebody tell this bxtch she made an enemy out of me!!!!!!!! 🤬 @tolanibaj.”
In response, many of Avala’s followers questioned her decision to air grievances publicly instead of addressing Tolani Baj privately. They suggested that handling such matters privately might have been more appropriate.
Tolani then responded to Avala on X, addressing the situation with a detailed explanation:
“I’ve reached out to clarify the issue because we were together at an event just last night.
“I’ve learned that you expected your song to be played during my DJ set last night, but unfortunately, I wasn’t informed about this by the event promoter. There was no communication whatsoever that I needed to include your performance in my set.
“My DJ set was originally scheduled for an hour but was abruptly cut to 30 minutes to make way for the next DJ. Naturally, I was displeased about this sudden change.
“Yes, you did mention your performance to me, and I was genuinely excited for you. I’ve been a supporter of your song, promoting it across all my platforms. How could I have known about the plans if they weren’t communicated to me?
“To be honest, I’m disappointed because your assumption about me is entirely incorrect. We could have easily cleared this up with a simple call or text, but unfortunately, there was no effort made to hear my side of the story.”
This response from Tolani highlights her disappointment at the misunderstanding and emphasizes the importance of clear communication in such situations.
