The Afrobeats queen has entered songs across several genres, from Global Music to R&B, reflecting her remarkable versatility and growing influence in the international music industry.

At the center of her Grammy campaign is her acclaimed album This One Is Personal, which has been submitted for Best Global Music Album and Best Album Cover. The project, praised for its heartfelt storytelling and innovative blend of sounds, marks a defining moment in Tiwa’s evolving career.

Her hit single You4Me has also been submitted in two key categories — Best Global Music Performance and Best African Music Performance — showcasing her continued impact as one of the leading voices in the Afrobeats genre. Meanwhile, her soulful side shines through in her R&B submissions: 10% for Best R&B Performance, I’m Done for Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Holding It Down for Best R&B Song.

Music critics have praised Tiwa Savage’s latest era as her most mature and expressive yet. Rolling Stone hailed her as the “foremother of Afrobeats,” while Billboard described her new sound as “Tiwa Savage like you’ve never heard her before,” applauding her artistic growth and fearless experimentation.

If any of her entries progress to official nominations, it will mark yet another historic achievement for Tiwa Savage and a major win for African music on the world stage.
