The number of fatalities in the Cholera outbreak in Lagos has climbed to 24

The Cholera outbreak in Lagos has claimed the lives of 24 individuals, as reported by the state Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, on June 21. According to him, there are currently 417 suspected cases of this bacterial disease, out of which 35 have been confirmed.

Professor Abayomi emphasized the urgent need for proactive measures to contain the spread of Cholera in the state.

He highlighted that health authorities are actively monitoring and responding to the situation, implementing strategies to diagnose cases swiftly and provide necessary medical interventions.
