Terry G shocks fans as he claims he serves the devil and credits him for his success
Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has stirred reactions after claiming he serves the devil — saying that’s where his wealth comes from.
The controversial singer made the statement in a post shared on social media, which he later deleted, according to PM News.
Terry G also reacted to viral rumours about his death, clarifying that he’s alive and well.
In his words:
“My phone has been buzzing since morning. People have been calling to check up on me. They saw something online about my R.I.P, say Terry G don die. I came to clear your conscience… I am doing very fine, please stop that, I beg you in the name of God.”
Speaking further, he addressed an old video from The Honest Bunch Podcast where he said he doesn’t glorify God in his music.
“In that video I said, ‘I have fallen short of the glory of God… I’m not a gospel musician, I’m sorry. I’m a secular musician. I sing for the devil. We sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God, and it’s my business.’”
He ended by saying the devil made him successful:
“Don’t you know I’m serving the devil? He made me successful. I have cleared your conscience. Take am like that.”
