Taylor Swift’s Dad Accused of Assaulting Photographer in Sydney – In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a 71-year-old man, alleged to be Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, is under police investigation for reportedly assaulting an Australian photographer on Neutral Bay wharf in Sydney.

The incident occurred shortly after Taylor Swift’s final concert in the city.

The complainant, identified as photographer Ben McDonald, was waiting for Taylor Swift and her father as they arrived at the wharf following a late-night cruise on Sydney Harbour. According to reports, Swift had already entered a car when the alleged assault took place.

A spokesperson for Taylor Swift stated that two individuals were acting aggressively towards Swift and her entourage, grabbing at security personnel and threatening a female staff member. The spokesperson clarified that Swift’s father became involved in the altercation when trying to protect the singer.

McDonald recounted the incident, explaining that he and other media personnel were waiting to photograph Swift as she walked from a jetty to waiting cars.

Amidst the chaos, Swift’s father allegedly approached and punched McDonald in the face. McDonald expressed surprise at being assaulted, stating that there was no justification for the violence.

Taylor Swift, accompanied by more than 600,000 fans who attended her seven Australian stadium concerts as part of the Eras Tour, left the country on a private jet on Tuesday. The police investigation continues into the alleged assault on the photographer during the post-concert altercation at the wharf.

Scott Swift, Taylor Swift’s father, has recently come under scrutiny due to an alleged incident involving an assault on a photographer in Sydney.

The 71-year-old is reportedly part of an ongoing police investigation regarding the altercation that took place on Neutral Bay wharf after Taylor Swift’s final concert in the city.

The details surrounding the incident are being examined, with conflicting accounts from the photographer and Swift’s spokesperson regarding the circumstances leading up to the alleged assault.
