Spanish club Sevilla has agreed to sign Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke.

The 26-year-old has a verbal agreement with Sevilla and will undergo a medical on Monday, June 17, before signing a three-year contract with the La Liga side.

The seven-time UEFA Europa League winners finished 14th in La Liga last season and are looking to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Ejuke attracted Sevilla’s interest after a successful loan spell with Royal Antwerp, where he scored five goals and provided six assists across all competitions.

Ejuke was on loan at Royal Antwerp from CSKA Moscow, who paid €11m for him in 2020. He scored 5 goals and made 6 assists in 39 appearances in Belgium, after struggling in Russia.

He will join Sevilla as a free agent, offering Victor Orta and Garcia Pimienta a versatile winger with pace and one-on-one ability.
