Sabrina Carpenter is having a stellar moment.
After making UK chart history last week with “Please Please Please” topping the Official Singles Chart and “Espresso” at Number 2, Sabrina has now secured her first-ever Number 1 hit in the United States.
This week, her latest single “Please Please Please” rises to the top spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 in its second week, marking her first song to achieve this milestone. Additionally, “Espresso” retains its Top 5 position on the Billboard Hot 100, currently sitting at Number 4.
Reacting to the achievement on social media, Sabrina expressed her gratitude, saying: “Ohhh. I’m a grateful grateful grateful girl.”
Last week, Sabrina made history as the youngest female artist to simultaneously hold the Number 1 and Number 2 spots on the Official Singles Chart.

At 25 years, 1 month, and 10 days old, she surpassed the previous record held by Ariana Grande, who was 25 years, 7 months, and 20 days old when she achieved the same feat in February 2019 with “7 rings” and “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” occupying the top two positions.
