Ronaldo reveals his preferred player for Ballon d’Or 2024
Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his choice for the player he believes should win the 2024 Ballon d’Or and future editions.
For nearly 20 years, the Ballon d’Or has been dominated by Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, with the two superstars winning 13 of the last 15 awards.
Their rivalry has shaped the football world, but the 2024 edition marks a turning point, as neither Messi nor Ronaldo was nominated, signaling the end of an era for the sport’s greatest competition.
With the Ballon d’Or now moving into a new chapter, Ronaldo, a five-time winner, has shifted his attention to the emerging talents ready to take over.

Ronaldo remarked, “Kylian Mbappé can win the Ballon d’Or for the next few years.
