Recent reports suggest that Rodrygo has made a decisive move regarding his future at Real Madrid ahead of the upcoming season.
The Brazilian winger’s position at the club has grown increasingly uncertain, especially following the arrival of Kylian Mbappé on a free transfer—an addition that has further limited Rodrygo’s prominence in the starting lineup. Throughout a season filled with positional shuffling, Rodrygo voiced his discontent: “Often, I’m just filling spaces. Is someone missing there? Put Rodrygo in. Is someone missing on the right? Rodrygo. Is someone missing as No.9? Rodrygo. That’s it.”
According to MARCA, Rodrygo is now seriously contemplating a summer departure, with growing interest from several Premier League clubs. The report adds that only a direct appeal from Real Madrid’s next head coach could persuade him to stay.
While current manager Carlo Ancelotti has consistently backed Rodrygo, the 24-year-old has refrained from criticizing the Italian publicly.
