Rick Ross Shades 50 Cent: Calls Him Broke, Offers Him a Job
Rick Ross Trolls 50 Cent, Claims He’s Broke and Needs a Job
Hip-hop beefs never seem to die, especially when it comes to long-standing rivalries like that of Rick Ross and 50 Cent. Over the years, the two rap moguls have traded countless shots at each other, and it looks like Ross isn’t ready to let things slide anytime soon.
In a recent statement, the Hustlin’ rapper took direct aim at 50 Cent, claiming the G-Unit founder is “broke” and in desperate need of a job. And as the self-proclaimed “boss,” Ross is more than willing to offer him one.
“50 Cent and I can never be cool like me and Drake. I know 50 Cent, and trust me, he’s of no value to the music arena. I know 50’s level, and I know Drake’s level. What 50 Cent needs right now is a job cuz he’s broke. Since I’m the boss, I’m willing to give him a job. I listen to 50 Cent’s songs because they’re produced by Dr. Dre, and so I only listen to his songs because of the dope production.” – Rick Ross
With an estimated net worth of $150 million, Rick Ross is certainly in a financial position to make such claims. But the irony? 50 Cent, despite Ross’s jabs, is still sitting comfortably with an estimated $40 million to his name—hardly the definition of “broke” by most standards.
A Feud That Never Ends
This isn’t the first time Ross has taken shots at 50 Cent. Their feud dates back over a decade, stemming from personal and professional disagreements. From diss tracks to legal battles and social media warfare, these two have consistently found ways to keep their animosity alive.
While Ross enjoys his empire of Wingstop franchises, luxury real estate, and a growing music catalog, 50 Cent has successfully transitioned from rap into television with his hit show Power and multiple other business ventures.
So, is 50 Cent really broke, or is this just another exaggerated claim from the MMG boss? Fans seem to think it’s just Ross being Ross—stirring the pot and keeping the drama alive.
What do you think? Should 50 Cent take up Rick Ross’s job offer, or does this feud just need to be laid to rest? Let us know in the comments!
