Afrobeats sensation Rema is set for a grand homecoming this December as he headlines the iconic Rhythm Unplugged concert, one of Lagos’ biggest and most anticipated year-end music events.

The Coca-Cola–backed show will take place on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Eko Convention Center, promising a massive turnout from fans eager to see the global star on home soil.

The announcement was accompanied by striking promo artwork of the Calm Down crooner, boldly stamped with the line “From Nigeria to the World,” a fitting tribute to his meteoric rise as one of contemporary music’s most influential international voices.

Rema’s headlining appearance is being hailed as a symbolic return to his roots. Known for pioneering Afrorave—his genre-bending fusion of Afrobeats, trap, and alternative sounds—the superstar is expected to deliver a high-energy, career-spanning performance packed with his global hits.

His Lagos return follows a dominant run of international achievements, including sold-out shows, global chart-toppers, and record-breaking streaming milestones.

Rhythm Unplugged, a flagship event under the Flytime Fest banner, has a storied history of showcasing Africa’s biggest musical talents. This year’s edition places Rema firmly at the center, reaffirming his status as one of the continent’s most electrifying performers.

Tickets for Rema’s headline show at Rhythm Unplugged are currently available exclusively on the official event website.
