PSG star, Fabian Ruiz has house burgled after winning Champions League trophy as police arrest two minors after catching them 'red-handed
Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Fabian Ruiz’s hous was burgled while celebrating his team’s historic Champions League victory at the weekend.
Early on Monday morning two suspects broke into the 29-year-old’s residence while players and supporters continued to line the streets in celebration.
After the alarm was set off, police were alerted and raced to the scene and arrested two minors at the property.
The 29-year-old had returned to Paris with the squad to embark on a celebration parade on the streets of Paris on Sunday, but, just a day later, his home was broken into.
A police source told Le Parisien: ‘We found the player’s home in total disorder.
‘The two minors had rummaged through every room before we caught them red-handed.’
The incident came amid unrest in the French capital following PSG’s success in Europe on Saturday night.
A teenager was stabbed to death and 426 people were arrested during intense nationwide violence.
Police reported riots and looting as the club beat Inter Milan in Munich, Germany, in the final of the Champions League on Saturday night.
One of the worst incidents took place in Dax, in the south-west of France, where a 17-year-old was knifed in the stomach.
