TikTok star Mainly Mannie has been diagnosed with HIV.
Mannie, known as the “Boss and CEO” to his 1.4 million TikTok followers, shared an emotional video from his hospital bed, announcing to his fans about his diagnosis.
“I’m a lucky person. Blessed. I just wanna tell you guys a few things,” Mannie began in the clip, which has been viewed over 2.2 million times.
“Life has been trying to take me out lately,” he explained. “From the accidents, the sicknesses, and stuff and then me finding out I had AIDs and HIV summertime of this year. I couldn’t walk after the summer.”
“Listen, I am not the victim here,” the content creator continued. “Yes, my ex gave me this and I didn’t know, he hid a lot of things, but I’m not a victim because I had signs. I was so deep in love. But God is good. I know now.”
Mannie confirmed that he’s taking HIV medication which he said costs $4,000 a month.
“So, I’m gonna be working a lot,” he said with a laugh. “I think I’m gonna register for foundations and stuff. Not I think — I am. I’m feeling way better. I feel like me. I feel like the Boss and CEO!”
Mannie captioned his post: “I’m so glad that life has finally started for me! I’ve always been grateful & honestly truthfully with everyone on here! Sorry I thought otherwise I’m starting myself back real soon! I know I said things before ! But the is REAL ON MY END! God bless each and every one who has HIV/ADIS #Godisamazing your health is important.”
