Mr Eazi Announces New EP Maison Rogue, Set for September 25 Release
Afrobeats superstar Mr Eazi has officially announced the release of his brand-new EP, Maison Rogue, arriving September 25, 2025 via his influential label, emPawa Africa. The project marks his highly anticipated return following the success of his 2023 studio album, The Evil Genius.
Recorded at the Hotel Maison Rouge in Cotonou, Benin, the project takes its name from the same creative hub where Eazi has previously crafted some of his most personal work. The EP promises to extend the artist’s reputation for blending smooth Afrobeats rhythms with vulnerable, introspective storytelling, offering fans both fresh sounds and deeper emotional resonance.
Lead Singles Set the Tone
Maison Rogue is introduced by two standout singles that already give listeners a taste of the project’s direction:
Casanova – A playful yet honest exploration of love, desire, and temptation. Produced by TMXO and Kel-P, the track was released alongside a vibrant music video filmed in Barcelona. Directed by Ademola Falomo, the video pairs Eazi’s witty lyricism with a lighthearted, cinematic storyline that mirrors the song’s cheeky energy.
Corny – Released in July, this mellow love song leans into Eazi’s melodic strengths, offering a softer and more intimate perspective on relationships. Its laid-back groove has already made it a fan favorite ahead of the full EP drop.
The project also features Attention, a track that has already gained global exposure after being featured on the soundtrack of a major Formula 1 blockbuster film earlier this year.
