Missing pregnant woman found alive without the baby
A nine-month pregnant woman, Dorathy Opus, who went missing on Friday, February 7, 2025, has been found alive.
She was discovered on Wednesday, February 12, around 7 PM at The Young Roundabout in Port Harcourt, where her abductors dumped her after forcibly delivering her baby and taking the child away.
Dorathy is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Port Harcourt.
According to her sister-in-law, she had left home on Friday afternoon, carrying her phone, charger, and purse, telling her son she would be back soon. However, she never returned, and her whereabouts remained unknown until now.

According to neighbors, Dorathy was last seen at UPE Bus Stop, where she was waiting to board a commercial vehicle to her destination when she was abducted.
Authorities are now investigating the case, and efforts are underway to locate her missing baby.

The incident has sparked concern as Nigerians fear kidnappers are now targeting pregnant women solely to take their babies.
