Meet all the Contestants of Big Brother Naija Season 9 (Photos)

The ninth season of Big Brother Naija officially launched tonight, July 28.

This season is themed “No Loose Guard,” emphasizing the concept of duos. The organizers of the show encouraged contestants to enter with a partner, allowing them to compete as pairs.

The grand prize for this season is worth ₦100 million, which includes a brand-new SUV.

Here are the housemates for this season:

Chinwe and Zion are the first pair introduced to the audience. They are in a relationship and refer to themselves as the ZinWe Pair. The couple has been together for five months.

Femi “Fairme” and Michky are the second pair. They are friends and gym bros. They love to dance. They call themselves The Radicals.

The third pair of the night are friends, Rhuthee and DJ Flo. They call themselves FLORUISH. They have been friends for 10 years.

The fourth pair are a niece and aunty pair, Chinne and Nne. They call themselves NDI NNE.

Sooj and Topher the fifth pair. They are colleagues and call themselves ACES.

Shaun and Victoria are the 6th duo. They met in Dubai in 2022 and are friends. Their group name is SHATORIA.

Identical twins Handi and Wanni are the 7th pair. They are DJs from Kaduna. Their name is WANNI X HANDI.

Tjay and Ben are the next pair. They met on social media. They call themselves BETA. Tjay is married and has a daughter.

Another pair of identical twins, Ocee and Ozee Mbadiwe are the 9th pair. They call themselves MBADIWE TWINS.

The 10th pair are female friends, Damilola and Toyosi. They me during their IT. They call themselves TAMI.

The 11th pair on the Big Brother Naija season 9 house are beauty queen and pole dancer duo, Nelly and Anita. They will go by NELITA on the show. They met in 2015.

Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge known as STREEZE are the next pair. They are friends and met at UNILAG.

Kassia and Kellyrae are the 13th duo to make their entrance. They got married in February 2024. However, the other housemates will not know that they are married. They are going with the story that they are besties. They will be known as DOUBLEKAY.

Chizoba and Onyeka are the 14th pair. They are sisters and will be known as CHEKAS on the show.

There are 14 pairs and 28 housemates in all.
