🎤 Mariah Carey Announces New Album Here For It All, Set for September 2025 Release

Mariah Carey is back to take center stage with the announcement of her highly anticipated 16th studio album, Here For It All, dropping September 26, 2025, via her label imprint MARIAH/gamma.

The legendary vocalist revealed the exciting news on Monday, July 21, via social media, accompanied by a cinematic teaser that featured a sneak peek of the album’s title track. The upcoming project will include 11 tracks, headlined by her chart-topping single “Type Dangerous” and a newly teased follow-up “Sugar Sweet,” which she previewed on July 19.

🎶 A Comeback Album Seven Years in the Making

Here For It All marks Carey’s first full-length studio album since 2018’s critically acclaimed Caution. That project debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and was named Rated R&B’s Best R&B Album of 2018. Caution featured collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Blood Orange, Slick Rick, and Gunna, along with fan-favorite singles like “GTFO” and “A No No.”

In May 2024, Carey revisited her Caution ballad “Portrait” as part of Audible’s Words + Music series, where she reflected on the track’s emotional weight in an interview with Variety. That same interview subtly hinted that she was already crafting her next project — and now, the wait is almost over.

🔥 Lead Single “Type Dangerous” Sets the Tone

Produced and co-written by Anderson .Paak, Type Dangerous has already made waves, debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales and R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales charts. It also entered multiple other Billboard charts, including the Hot 100, Adult R&B Airplay, and Hot R&B Songs.

Carey performed Type Dangerous live for the first time at the 2025 BET Awards, where she received the prestigious Ultimate Icon Award, underscoring her lasting impact on the industry.

She later released Type Dangerous – The Remixes on July 11, a four-track EP that features guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, Big Sean, DJ Snake, and Brazilian pop star Luísa Sonza—a nod to her global appeal.

🌟 Mariah’s Legacy Continues

With Here For It All, Mariah Carey is not just releasing new music—she’s reaffirming her reign as one of the most influential voices in music history. Her timeless vocals, genre-blending sound, and unwavering presence across generations make this upcoming album one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Fans around the world are counting down to September 26—and by the sound of things, Mariah is definitely here for it all.
