Man Utd Submits Double Bid for Bayern Munich Duo
Manchester United have made an initial double offer to sign Bayern Munich defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, reports The Athletic.
While United’s opening bid for the duo was rejected by the German club, negotiations are ongoing as both sides work towards an agreement.
De Ligt, a centre-back, and Mazraoui, a right-back, were informed by Bayern Munich before the summer transfer window that they were not part of Vincent Kompany’s plans and should seek transfers.
Mazraoui was close to joining West Ham United last week, but the deal fell through due to a disagreement with his agent over terms.
The Moroccan international now appears set for a move to Old Trafford, with United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka likely heading to West Ham as part of the arrangement.
