Lil Kesh Shares Health Update Weeks After Violent Lagos Attack

Nigerian rapper and singer Keshinro Ololade, better known by his stage name Lil Kesh, has given fans a long-awaited update on his health following the violent attack he suffered in Lagos a few weeks ago.

The Shoki hitmaker took to Snapchat to share a recent photo of himself, in which he appeared relaxed while lounging on a couch. Dressed casually in a white singlet, Lil Kesh had visible bandages around his ear and neck — a sign of the physical toll left by the brutal assault.

Details of the Attack

Earlier reports from NotJustOk revealed that Lil Kesh was stabbed in the neck during the incident, with one of his ears partially severed. The attackers, who targeted the artist in a sudden ambush, also made away with his expensive jewellery.

The shocking news sparked widespread concern among fans and colleagues in the Nigerian music industry, many of whom took to social media to wish him a speedy recovery.

Successful Surgery and Recovery

Thankfully, doctors were able to carry out emergency surgery to reattach his ear, preventing what could have been a permanent disfigurement. Since then, Lil Kesh has been recovering quietly, away from the spotlight, choosing instead to focus on his health and healing process.

His recent Snapchat update, however, indicates encouraging progress, with the star looking calm and composed despite the visible scars.

Fans React to the Update

The post has since drawn emotional reactions from fans, with many expressing relief at seeing him back on his feet after such a traumatic experience. Messages of support and prayers have continued to pour in across social platforms, highlighting the affection many still hold for the rapper.

While Lil Kesh has yet to issue a formal statement or grant interviews about the attack, his recent update reassures supporters that he is on the path to full recovery.
